So many plans for this summer!
We just signed up for our first bike marathon/half marathon. I'm in for it now, but I can't help but be excited. The landscapes of southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland make me feel like I'm living in some sort of storybook. Plus, being able to explore by bike lets you appreciate them on another level.
My first longer bike ride was in Zurich when I went to visit this guy. We didn't quite hit the 100k mark, but it was definitely enough to know what your ass will feel like after you've been on that seat for hours. The original plan was to cruise around the lake, but we ended up going for the hills. Exploring Zurich on a perfectly sunny day makes me think life in Switzerland wouldn't leave much to complain about.
