Life is falling back into those fall vibes where everything feels like it has slowed down. I'm lazier. I want to sleep longer, and the couch is back to being my new favorite place. A carousel of to-dos is spinning in my head, yet I feel like I can't get anything done.

I need to push myself to build better habits to get through the fall lows. After work, I have about 5 hours for myself. You can get so much done in that time and still do something good for yourself—from working out to getting creative and crossing things off that to-do list. And it is funny because I know if I went to bed at night after a full day, I would feel so much more fulfilled. You know it's good for you. You know it will make you feel better, yet here you are.

Colmar

We were having coffee in bed on a perfect Saturday morning and decided this was the day to bike to France and get some crepes for lunch.

Fifty kilometers there and fifty back, and of course, it always ends up more complicated than you planned. You can't know how the roads will be until you are on them yourself. Sometimes your bike app gets you on that French highway that you were doing everything to avoid.

It may not have been our smoothest bike ride, but catching the sunset over the vineyards on the way home eased that feeling of.. get me the hell of this bike. Those last 10k always seem like a struggle to me. But then you make it home, and I never regret getting to spend the day outside pushing myself. Forever thankful for what these bodies are capable of doing.

And another adventure checked off the list.
