Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
There are plenty of cool things to see around this park.
This place is my favorite though.
Geysers and hot springs don't amaze me as much as the earth being carved out by water.
This canyon is deep.
The colors are crazy
A lot of rock.
With some forest sprinkled right on top.
I wish it wouldn't have started raining/hailing/snowing right when we got there.
It looks sunny, but it came in quick.
One thing I didn't expect..
It takes ages to get around the park.
It is HUGE.
The map makes it all look doable.
Be ready to drive.

Summer Solstice
Best day of the year.
Brings me into my favorite time of the year.
Summer.
It doesn't even matter how much I have going on right now.
Looking forward to 10 hour study days.
Trying to find time to work.
Getting our apartment organized.
I don't really care though.
Looking forward to my stressful summer.

Geysers and Hotsprings
The Yellowstone pics will keep on coming.
I like those colors.
I just want to jump in.
On another note.. I think I have finally beat the jet lag.
I slept through the whole night.
No sleeping pill needed.
Back to the normal life.

West Thumb
Our first stop.
Hello Yellowstone.
After being awed by the Grand Tetons this was the next stop.
It feels like a different world.
It feels like the wild of now and some strange past universe.
The colors are dreamed up.
I sometimes can't even believe it's all real.
No human help.

Teton County
Those peaks.
It is a magical place.
A mix of Alps and the wild west.
I keep waiting to spot a church in the hills and some cowbells in the distance.
It isn't Europe though.
You don't need to look over your shoulder for bears in Europe.
I loved it. I love that far away land.. WYOMING.
If you want the real experience stay at a ranch and maybe eat a buffalo burger.

Grand Teton
Sometimes when you least expect it you end it up in amazing places.
A little bit of spontaneity can make crazy things happen.
I need to move away from schedule every once in a while
