My one day in the Uintas this summer.
I did some impulse shopping and purchased a paddle board on a cruise down the canyon one day. The new toy also led to a new lake. We packed some food and made a day trip to a place I've never been. I forgot that even midsummer in the Uintas can be so much colder than Salt Lake City.
The scenic western landscape takes you here, and you feel like you are so far away from home. This view is what I imagine Canada to look like. There was wind, there was rain, and with every cloud, you could feel the chill hit. We eventually packed up and sat in the cover of our car, watching the rain fall, and eating hummus and chips. Once we started driving out the sun finally decided to stay and so did we.

Currently thinking about how to shove a paddle board in my luggage in two weeks.
Probably not the smartest idea, but most likely going to try anyway.
