A Week of Farewells

25.7.10
This week has been very sour and sweet. We have all been having amazing goodbye parties and I am so excited to see everyone at home, but the thought of never seeing any of these people again is a little hard to take in. I have met so many amazing people, that have really brought something new to my life, and now we are all going to our corners of the world. We really are scattered all over the world.
It all started on thursday with our goodbye party for martine, which ended in the morning at yufkas. We all went to yufkas for breakfast/lunch and took up most of the kebab store. Then after we said our goodbyes outside and started dancing and singing hava nagila in the middle of Marktplatz. We received a standing ovation by the tourists walking through the area.
That evening we went to Anne's for dinner. Kristina made a appetizers, Anthon made the main course, and I provided some desert. After dinner we had a dance party to some good old nineties music.
Saturday we played our last frisbee game, and it was a good game. Afterwards we all just sprawled out on the grass and talked about the good times. That evening was the goodbye party for the danish boys, we all went to dinner, and then to the university party at the mensa. The goodbyes keep getting harder, and our numbers are slowly getting smaller.
Today the ladies are going to lunch, and I have a feeling it will be a tear filled afternoon.
