Nights three and four.
This place was our private oasis, things felt so easy there that we decided to spend an extra night.
The surroundings are stunning and so alive, but I think the water is what makes it so special. Having a creek running through the area makes it seem like an illusion. On those scorching days, it is the best thing you will ever find. Jumping into that ice cold pool at the end of the hike is what you dream about on all those desert trips, but here it is actually real.
That afternoon we set up for a reading/chill out session in the river. The sound of water around you, cooling you off every time you dipped your feet in, and the sun catching you right between the trees. That is exactly how I wanted to spend the rest of that day.
