The coast of southern Portugal exceeded my expectations on so many levels.
I was ready for a nice getaway with the girls, some relaxation and hopefully some sun.
Then the beauty hit.
Wildflowers everywhere, insane views and beautiful beaches.
We were there in the off-season so I felt like we had kilometer after kilometer just to ourselves.
On the first day, we headed from Salema to Sagres.
An 18 km hike from our little fishing town to the southwestern tip of Europe.
The whole day looked just like this.
A cove to a cliff through a field of flowers, up the hill to the cove over the cliff and to the next one.
