We made it to the village somewhat late.
Nothing like a mountain night hike to get you excited.
The feeling of being on a path leading to nowhere in the snow has its moments.
I also think people just likes being able to use head lamps.
Forty minutes later we found the party.
Weekend birthday celebration in the Alps.
Twenty people and one very cozy, very cold cabin in the middle of it all.
Sleeping in bunkbeds and keeping warm around the hot stove,
made for a good atmosphere.
No hot water.
Piles of wet clothes and snow filled shoes.
An endless amount of card games.
Good company and an excess amount of beer.
I only say too much beer, because we actually had to hike down with the leftover beer.
People had backpacks full of beer.
I didn't think that was actually possible.
At least I think they drank all the schnapps.
