Another slice of Utah heaven.
I can't believe I have never been to this place before.
We got lucky that the dates lined up and we could follow my parents up to the Flaming Gorge for the weekend.
Only Leon was missing.
This place though.. what to say.
You are surrounded by pine trees, which means it smells amazing.
There are wild animals everywhere. Little rabbits running around you.
I'll be busy chasing them around like a 3 year old.
Then there is the insane view.
I didn't know why we chose to sleep so far from the marina.
And then I took a peak over the edge. The edge that our campsite happened to be on.
Breathtaking.
Beautiful.
Perfection.
Perfect sunrises. Perfect sunsets.
It amazed me.
Boating through the canyon was also insane.
I'm a sucker for nature.
And this is the kind of nature that just hits you in the face.
Is it real?
Water was cold, end of the summer was approaching.
A few drinks later and you are hopping in, jumping off a cliff and taking a nap in the sun.
Happy to be alive.
Thank you Flaming Gorge, I better be seeing you again next summer.
