I took my first southern Utah trip last weekend. I have lived in Utah most of my life and I still have not seen some of the crazy things that exist here. We packed up the car and made the first stop Capitol Reef National Park. Even if you are not staying the night, the drive through alone is worth. The scenery and landscapes are breathtaking and constantly changing.
We also camped. I was worried at first. I'm not exactly the biggest camper.
It had been more than ten years since I have camped, but it was amazing. Stars in the south don't compare to any stars I have seen anywhere else.
Also a few raindrops can made it even more memorable.
