Brudet is fish stew that is a speciality along the coast of croatia.
One of the towns near us was having a night of brudet. The locals had about 12 large pots going and a grill with the days catch. There was a little bit of everything from fish, to crabs, to other sorts of shellfish. The best part.. it was free. You just had to walk up to a pot and they would let you try their mix. The only thing you had to pay for was the wine, which was also locally made. Great cultural night for us.
