The plan was to head to Northern Italy after Switzerland, but the weather pushed us in another direction. We added on a few hours to the drive and ended up in Northern Croatia.
I have been to the Dalmation Coast more times than I can count, but this area was a first for both of us. I'm always happy to explore something new. You just can't let your expectations be influenced by past experiences too much. This was a different type of Croatia for me. Different isn't bad though, and I more than enjoyed our week of sunshine.
