Our road trip was also supposed to be a nice little biking getaway. We attempted to bike around the Adriatic Coast, but there were not enough continuous paved roads to make it worth it. Croatia isn't totally ready for road biking, at least not around the places we explored. If I were to plan another trip, I would go with the mountain bike option. Then again, knowing us, we would probably bring these guys along anyway.
